Meeting Topic: DVD – “Behemoths Buried Alive: Evidence of rapid dinosaur burial points to a catastrophic deluge” talk by Michael Oard (CMI).

“Not many are aware that observations in the rocks show billions of dinosaur tracks, nests, eggs, and scavenged bonebeds. Often touted as unanswerable challenges, Mike shows why they are rather evidence of live dinosaurs being buried alive and quickly, likely early in the great Flood of Noah’s time.” (CMI DVD)

(Tuesday, 7 pm)

Meeting Topic: A talk by Kent Powderly on “The Era of Epistemological Breakdown” (Part IV of Creation in History).

“Epistemology” is the study of how we know what we know, or the mechanics of knowledge and our ability to reason. Its breakdown in society affects our ability to communicate evangelism in general, and Creation evangelism in particular.

  • How did our civilization get to this place?
  • Where can we go from here in Creationism as a movement?
  • What new dangers face us?

Come find out!

Kent has presented three times before on the topics of church history, the development of Creation doctrine, significant people involved, and more. This talk will summarize the history (very difficult) and talk about the state of thinking today: “Epistemology” in action.
