Abstract: 

”Systems biology is an interdisciplinary field that focuses on the complex interactions within biological systems using a holistic approach rather than the traditional reductionist approach. It aims to understand how the components of biological systems, such as genes, proteins, and metabolites, interact to give rise to the function and behavior of the system as a whole. The field can be considered from several aspects:

• As evidence for Biblical creation, it demonstrates the statistical impossibility of spontaneous generation and macro-evolution.
• As a field of study, it focuses on the interactions between components of biological systems and how these interactions result in the function and behavior of the system.
• As a paradigm, it contrasts with reductionism, emphasizing integration and the study of biological systems as a whole.
• As operational protocols, it involves a cycle of theory, modeling, experimental validation, and refinement of models.
• As a socioscientific phenomenon, it involves interdisciplinary collaboration to integrate complex data about biological systems.”
