Meeting Topic: A talk by Dr. Ray Mondragon – “The Fatal Flaw of the Old Earth View – Uniformitarianism”
“The talk will explain the distinction between observational science and historical science. It will show that historical science depends on observable data but also assumptions about the past. One of the main assumptions of the past is uniformitarianism and thus of historical science. I will demonstrate why the assumption of uniformitarianism is an inadequate scientific concept and therefore the fatal flaw of the old earth view.”
